	END Of SEASON DVD

The season is half over and we been taking a lot of pictures and video.

It's now time to organize all that into a DVD for the season.

Can you please go through your material and choose the pictures/videos that you think are best.

Keep in mind that people, who may not know your team as well as you, will be helping with this. So please try to be specific with your file names. Can you use this format;
team- player#-Game-date
Example: JV-17-Bellavista-10-9.jpg
This will go a long way in managing the mountain of media we will get.

This is what we need:
PICTURES
- Several pictures of every player on your team
- Action & NON-ACTION shots (sidelines, celebrations, team dinners, ect.)
- Different angles and elevations
- The more creative the better

VIDEO
- We need clips of no more than 10 - 15 secs
- Video of as many players as possible
- Non-action shots are good as well
- Celebrations are great
- Great Goals are a must
- Try to get different angles and Elevations

When you have the pictures/Video together please let me know and we can make arrangement to collect them.

We are happy to announce our new Web Site!

We've worked hard to make it a convenient place to check on the latest information and easy to use . We'll quickly be transitioning to this site as the primary source of information, so please do your volunteers a favor and use it regularly. Your Team Parent and volunteers work very hard to keep you up to date. Please do them a favor and use the site!

As we move forward, you'll be receiving most of your team related communications via our new site and you'll be directed there for information.

Here's some of what it has to offer…

- Accurate schedules for all teams (game & practice)

- Auto "Email Reminders" of upcoming games & practices that affect you.

- Accurate maps to facilities (home & away)

- Rosters for each team

- Game Results

- News bulletins (Global & Team specific)

- Carpool, drink and other schedules/lists

- Event schedules (Global & per Team)

- Team and Booster contact information

- Spirit Wear order form

- Sponsors

- Feedback

(we want to hear from you - it's much easier to improve the site if we know what you need)

There are other functions that we hope to turn on in the future, we'll let you know about those when they are approved and ready to go. But for now, we are confident that the site will enhance the GBHS Boys Soccer organization and make it easier for you to stay up to date.

	Varsity, JV & Freshman Games this week

Hello GBHS Soccer Families,

The Varsity and JV teams have away games on Tuesday, September 22nd against Nevada Union starting at 3:30. On Thursday, September 24th, the Varsity and JV teams are home against Roseville starting at 3:30.

The Freshman team has 3 games this week! The first one is home on Tuesday, September 22nd against McClatchy at 5:00. The next one is away on Thursday, September 24th against Rio Americana at 3:30. And finally, on Friday, September 25th the Freshman team is away against Bella Vista at 5:00.

Enjoy the hot weather on the soccer field and support our teams!

Hello Grizzly Soccer Families!

Please place your Grizzly Soccer Spirit Wear orders

Look for the samples at the Varsity, JV, and Freshman home games and place your order with the friendly team spirit wear coordinators. Orders will take approximately two weeks to deliver.

Freshman families may give orders to me, Kerry Fitzpatrick, at any practice or game

	Soccer Team Dinners

Hello GBHS Soccer families,

Just wanted to give you an update on the GBHS Soccer Team Dinners....

This week the Varsity and J.V. Teams will be having team dinners on Wed. night after practice. The dinners are sponsored by different families and are a great team bonding experience! Please remind your sons that the dinners usually last about 1.5 hours so they will have plenty of time for homework! They are usually held the night before a home game. I will be sending out a schedule soon...

The Varsity team will be dining at the Howarths home this Wed. night. Thank you to the Howarths and Manns for volunteering for the first dinner.

Thanks to the Sandretti Family for feeding the J.V. Team also on Wednesday night! Maybe the J.V. team parents can coordinate a carpool schedule for the team and send out the Sandretti address.

The Freshman schedule is set. See the Freshman Team Schedule or the Events Calendar for the dates.

J.V. Team- Dinners needed for 9/16, 9/28, 10/14 and 10/26.

Varsity Team- Dinners needed for 9/23.
